We are passionate about the cinema and have been collectors of original film posters for over 25 years. We specialise in film noir from the classic period (approximately 1940 to 1960), classic films of the 1970s, cult movies, Clint Eastwood and much more.

A number of posters in our collection have already been professionally linen-backed and/or restored and are ready to frame and display. All other posters will display perfectly well as they are too, but keen collectors may wish to undertake further restoration and/or backing to preserve them and display them. Click here for our Online Shop to see all vintage film posters currently on sale.

The hobby of movie poster collecting has grown massively in popularity over the last 25 years or so. Trends come and go, with some collectors  concentrating on specific genres (e.g science fiction and horror movies from the 1950s, film noir or Westerns), particular movie stars, or even types of poster. We built up our collection not from following any trends, however - we just bought posters because we knew and loved the films.

As a general guide, if a film is either famous or has cult classic status,  and the more memorable the poster art (for example, by noted designers or artists such as Saul Bass, Bob Peak or Richard Amsel), then the more likely a poster is to be sought after, collectable and valuable. When all these things come together (a great film, a hard-to-find poster and great poster art) then you have a pretty safe investment and a relatively affordable piece of original poster art to display in your home or office and impress your friends. Of course, the best way to approach any hobby or collection is to simply buy what you really like and ignore trends!
